As the Work Package Leader, STAN Global brings over 15 years of extensive experience in designing, developing, and managing citizen responder alerting systems to the proposed project. Notably, in 2008, STAN launched the pioneering platform for the Dutch citizen responder system called 'HartslagNu' and currently provides comprehensive technical and organizational support to the national network.

Stan's mission is centered around empowering citizens to save lives. At present, they successfully manage a network of over 230,000 volunteers and 25,000 Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) in the Netherlands. This enables us to respond to more than 11,000 alerts annually. Their system seamlessly integrates with the Dutch Emergency Medical Services (EMS) response to out-of-hospital cardiac arrests (OHCA) and has become an integral part of OHCA care in the country. Stan takes immense pride in the positive impact we have on society by significantly increasing survival rates. As such, they aspire to share their best practices with other regions within the European Union.
