Montagne de Reims Regional Nature Park has officially launched its new awareness campaign, "Quiétude Attitude", or Quiet Attitude. Aimed at all visitors to the park, the initiative seeks to encourage respectful behaviour in nature areas, striking a balance between outdoor enjoyment and the protection of biodiversity. Through simple, accessible messages, the park hopes to inspire everyone to play their part in safeguarding the wildlife and natural habitats that define the region.

Every year, the nature areas of Montagne de Reims welcome a growing number of visitors: walkers, hikers, trail runners, mountain bikers and many others. This reflects both the region's appeal and a wider rise in interest in outdoor activities. At the same time, this increased footfall places growing pressure on natural habitats and the species that depend on them. "Quiétude Attitude" responds to this challenge by establishing a shared motto and philosophy across the entire park territory.

The campaign is built around six straightforward habits that visitors are invited to adopt in order to limit their impact on wildlife and natural habitats:

  1. I acknowledge the quiet zones and regulations in nature areas
  2. I stay on official trails
  3. I respect the silence of nature
  4. I keep my dog on a leash
  5. I prefer daytime activities
  6. I leave no trace

These habits apply to all visitors and are designed to minimise disturbance to wildlife, which is particularly sensitive at certain times of year and in certain parts of the park.

Beyond these six habits, the campaign pursues a wider goal. It aims to raise awareness of biodiversity conservation, help visitors discover the rich variety of species and habitats found within the park, and promote a sense of responsibility towards the natural environment. At its heart is a simple idea: we are guests in ecosystems that support countless species, and they deserve our respect.
